The Gospel According To Larry

This amazing novel written by Janet Tashjiank, is about a teenager named Josh, who takes on a second identity. This second identity, "Larry," is used to steer people away from consumerism and big corporations, and to educate people about how their lives are run by corporations. In the book "Larry" makes his own Internet site for fun, just to try and get people to be aware of whats happening around them. Josh doesn't know that he will end up causing a big stir over this site, many people start to follow "Larry's" word. Before he knows it Josh is leading thousands of people to a better life using this persona "Larry". "Larry" end up being discovered and revealed to be Josh, this causes quite a stir. Josh feels like "Larry" has become another marketing gimmick, so he does something unthinkable; Josh fakes his own death the death of "Larry". I think this book is very well written, and i like how it is written in a diary style with footnotes. This book made me think a lot about our lives today, and how much we are dictated by corporations. Overall i think this book is great, and i highly recommend it.

YEEH WHOOO! too bad it isn't a real story though. i mean there's no way Bono would go through all that trouble & not get any publicity on it. but idk why the author wrote that note in the beginning about it being all true & shizz. that kinda ticked me off...

hmm. is this the one valeria suggested? anyways, it sounds okay-ish lol. but tat is just my opinion. But the part where he fakes his death sounds interesting. The rest was like BLAH. so you could've talked more about that interesting part then wat you wrote. :) just a honest advice mikey. anyways, peace.
